The first Sardinero beach

Also known as "the first Sardinero beach", it is located in the heart of the city of Santander and is one of the most popular beaches in Cantabria. It is easy to access even for people with limited mobility. It has a wide range of services and is bordered by an attractive seafront promenade. Following the coastline will bring you to second Sardinero and the La Concha beach, to which it is joined at low tide. Very nearby stands the La Magdalena peninsula and the lighthouse on Mouro Island. Right behind is the famous stadium of the Racing de Santander football team, also called El Sardinero.
