With a length of around 3,150 meters, the beach promenade in the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn is one of the longest of its kind in Germany. It was completed in 2007 and runs from Kuehlungsborn-West to the harbor promenade at the boat harbor.
It is part of the European cycle route E9 . Along the promenade you have an unobstructed view of the beach and the Baltic Sea, but also of the numerous architectural sights, some in the style of resort architecture , along the Ostseeallee. A striking point on the promenade is the pier , inaugurated in 1991, with an attractively designed forecourt.
